Hi,

It was easy to set up a default channel for the old Dream Boxes - so they turned back to that channel after a power cut (just select channel then switch to standby, then back on), but how does one do it with one of these boxes?

Also is there anyway I can have a blank screen (or my own screen) on reboot rather than the images screen?

Thanks.

Just put it on the channel you want and then tell the box to shut down. It should then remember that was the last channel it was on. All my Linux boxes seem to work in that same manner.

To set a start up Channel do the following: Bring up channel list... Press the Menu Button on that Channel and select.. set as startup service.

If you also mean changing the default boot logos these can be changed as well in the /usr/share/ folder all the logos are in .mvi format they can also be found and changed in /boot folder
