I have a page on screen with a big "W" and "1°"- is that a good sign? O-Ha:D

Do I now tighten up, plug all the cables/ motor back in and try to scan in another satellite (using the motor to move the dish now)?

:) :)

You never know, search for the rest and STORE them .When you have what you want mark the dish and motor with a permanent marker and then tighten up. Also put a bit of vaseline on the threads to stop them rusting just in case you want to get a bigger dish. Well done .

Do I use the built-in "drive to" function of the DB & motor? ie when I select Astra 19.2E in Motor Setup and it says "moving dish to..." etc.? Will give it a try tomorrow. :)

Cheers.

You have to find them 1st then store them. Then the d box will go to that position you have stored them. Thats what i do anyway.

Ahh, is that because of the flaky GotoXX? Is one click left/right (direction) one degree?

Thanks again! :)

No you have to keep the left or right button down until you get the loc in the boxes. Then store and scan.

So if I select Astra 19.e (in Motor Setup) and turn the motor eastwards, it will lock when it reaches 19.2E? And then I can use Automatic Transponder scan?

What do you reckon the score will be tonight? 1-3? :-beer

Yes it should lock if your set up is right. Just keep watching for the X X Lock and then store. Probally 2-1 to Byern

My prediction is that we'll attack twice and score twice. :D

Hope that cheating &"%$£#@ Ballack still has some Stamford Bridge turf stuck between his teeth!

9.6, 9.4, 9.5....

Phew! That was close....

On the sat. front- is it normal for some channels to show fine and others pixelate from the same satellite (19.2E)?
