How to update an embedded cam ?

I have a FORTEC STAR 6000 with embedded MAGIC cam upgraded to MATRIX RELOADED 1.230 , is it possible to update the cam to MR 1.180 using a DUMMY CARD ( I didn't buy it yet )?? (in this case which prog I have to use ?)

Sorry I cannot answer the question you are asking but surely what you have 1.23 is later than 1.18 so why do you want to downgrade???

Yes you will need a matrix loader board and load the latest MR File into it, MR 1180 or MR 1170. Go to the clanzers website for a how to on it. Lets know if you have any problems. Do not use the magic cam board as it wont do.

on GUI it says 1.4.1.7. What type of cam and firmware do Ihave on this cam and is it even worth updating. I just ordered a cas 3 and mr. Thanks
