My Satellite Setup
"PACE" model 1.127 /SKY +
My Location

Hello,

I have a "pace, model 1.127" with a sky+ subscription. This model has 2 x USB2.0 on it. One on the front and one on the back.

Can someone tell me how to copy something I have recorded to my PC?

I allready have tried to connect the two devices together with a USB cable, but my PC doesn't react when I plug in the connector.....

Many thanks,

Cor

@toppervte33h : Oh no !!O-st

I mainly subscribed to sky+ for copying to my notebook ( for my job I stay a lot of times in hotels, and to kill some time I wanted to view the recorded programs on my notebook)

What are the possibilities to copy items from the HD from the reciever to my notebook ??

Many thanks,

Cor

Not the pay channels no - the streams are encoded and decrypted on playback!

Or buy a Dreambox. That will record the decrypted video stream. Then you can copy to your notebook via Ethernet.

Does not work for PPV movies.

It's a bit fiddly to set up initially, but you seem an intelligent guy ;) and we will support you all the way.

It's the daddy of all boxes, and will provide you with more recorded viewing than you have hotel-hours :)
