Humax 5400 Dead?

Hi Guys, I have an older 5400 and it seems dead, I eihter have a flashing dash on the front panel or a flashing dash and lots of clicks. Any ideas? I was going to check it out for dry joints etc. or buy myself a new receiver, looking at the Echostar 5020 or the Dreambox 7020, what do you think?

its more than likely that the psu is playing up, £32 ish from ireland
ring 02891 824964 & ask for maria
this was the last contact name i had, i used it only a couple of months ago, very easy to change,

Any thoughts on the other boxes? or are there any other systems (koane?) that can take tuner cards disks and or dvd recorders?
