ive just tested it again im getting channels like sky prview, but when i goto Inter Channel or milan say the error is 0100 - the audio is not available or scrambled???

most channels are like that by the way i done the settings ok now, just cant view.

its just loading file into the box
you do have box on? set the card +emu if that dont work you might have to try an earlier ver of dsr

ok i got version DSR 3.0, but again when i hit write with or without the serial lead in the STB, is complets to 100%, so Im not sure its writing to the box, or doing it to cache some wher eon my pc??

it came with the origernal hot patch dont know were you will find that

i did everything and did it all but once i upload the tux 3.3 with hot 2.0 i dont get nothing
i had tux 3.2 with hot 1.9 all was working fine
once i uploaded the newer version nothing is working
i read in the txt file with the tux 3.3 that i have to set the funcard to 000 0000 000 but i could'nt understand what does that mean
i have a funcard programmer and i use funprom please anyone advice

i am just useing normal files in card
did you reset the caid preset.. to card +emu

dont forget each time you load new firmware or chnl list
you need to set the caid preset

Hi all,

It seems yesterday all the channels went... i took the latest file from http://www.laurals.com/L53file/Humax_keyupdate.zip to get the latest key, used SAmy Hummy to upload the file, had the box on FTA 389, uploaded, then swithced off with remote, however getting the 0100 audio is scrambled on the box??

Made sure that Card and EMU is selected in Menu....there is also the S option but left that out.

Am I doing anything wrong, is the file correct?

Still not 100% in uploading the bin file to the Humax...does any have a more failsafe way???

so its wait for an update

sorry you say wait for an update....does that mean leave it on the channel? or do I have to initiate or rewrite the new bin?

Also does any one have a suggestion on the most robust BIN writer for the humax, DSR doesnt seem to be to reliable.

Its a firmware upgrade we are waiteing for


if your haveing probs with DSR look for early vers slower writeing

so how can I tell if its a new patch I need or a new firmware?

Also when we first starting talking about this issue, you mentioned not to buy a cam and card, is this maybe a good idea seeing how unstable this method is?

its only the sly italis pack thats not working { new patch needed }

the hot patch is still working on 1w and 19e ie D+and the rest of whats available so there is a lot still working
but if you are only useing 13e you are limited to that sats broadcast


as for cam +card ill leave that to you coz if you look round there are still peep
complaining abut the new cam they bought not working on sly italia.

so if i was you i would go with motor or multi lnb setup for a better choice

well not to sure about 1e and 19e, all I have done is removed all the astra channels from my HNF, therefore all I can see is Hotbird, what Im still concerned about is that Im not uploading the correct bin in the correct fashion. I know you have told be what to do, what they way you mention does not let me know 100% if what im doing is correct.

How can I change the System ID from 0016.26 to 0016.0600 on a humax 5400 ?? Can anybody help?
