My Satellite Setup
dreamboxhd 800 pvr
2 x dreambox 500s
globalstar-m6 free to air
1 metre dish
80cm dish
60 cm dish
all via diqsec switch.

ive read the manuel for matrix reloaded and have humax 5300,it says you have to initialize on another reciver,ive not got another recever how can i get around this.thanks stevo

Some people have reported successful initialisation after repeated attempts in the Humax, but other than that, I'm not sure if there is an alternative.

Hi,
If you use a laptop to update your MR, then leave the MR in the laptop for about 5 mins, this will work fine.When you put it back in the humax have it on a FTA channel. You may not even need to update using a laptop, it may work if you just put it in the socket.The drivers will have to be installed though.
I think you can also get a Cas interface,but i don't know much about that.
