Dear Sir my brothers have these receivers Humax5400 & nokia9200 and want to upgrade them.Is there a good loader and emulator for these?
Is it true that it's risky for a receiver to update it?
I thank you in advance

Whats the software version, loader version and system id on your humax 5400. You may be able to patch it and use without a cam

More details of Operation system and cam in the nokia9200 would help, then a constructive answer can be formulated.

Right mate, it seems that your humax has the old TOH software.
Since TOH 3.2,there has been a vast leap forward in the software for humax. There is currently available TOH/HOT emulater software, thereby eliminating the need for you to use cams. All you will need is a funcard (programmed with 6 in 1 files, do not have to be current files) or gold card (programmed with irdeto eep).
What you have to be aware of is that there are the official TOH/HOT releases and releases by other people which can/may damage your receiver so you need to use a reliable site to get update.

Here is what you need firstly
1) The original HIC 1.05.00 software for your receiver (in case u need it) and software to send it to your receiver called wdn4oak+ or humax uploader (HU15) You can get this from the official humax site, so u need to register at humaxdigital.com or try humax-zone.net
2) Emulator software. Best version is currently TOH 3.3 hot 3.4 (dated 11.5.05). You can get this from toecuttersden.com w*w.mach1.ws or maybe some other site you can trust
3) Fun6in1 file (Try Mach1, jettyboy, shadows) or Humax key.bin.
4) sammy_hummy edit or dsr9500 emued42. Youcan get this from above sites or type papagen in google and download from his site (this is a samsung receiver site)
6) channel settings file

You can also find most of the above from satdudez-forumz.com, humax section

This seems like a lot but once you have all this then it becomes a lot easier. Also if you join any forum firstly and importantly read their RULES, then just read read and read in the appropriate sections, but let me know if you are stuck at any stage
