Still having problems, can't clear, even though I FTP'd everything over I could not see the files, is this right ? It also wouldn't let me copy over nagra_roms either. I am usng Dcc, would it be better to use a normal FTP Client ?

Cheers

Yes and no. Can you resart newcamd without rebooting ? The problem I have is that whenever I reboot the DB always send my dish to 40w or something similar, so when I tried to get it back it crashed. Will try again later after some zzzz.

On the last bit about the DB automatically send my dish to 40w, is there a way I can remove the Sats I don't want like that 40w one, by using FTP ?

Cheers

Newcamd will auto start up when box is rebooted, To remove sats ,into menu, into service searching, into satellite configuration, highlight the sat you want erase and press red button, it takes a while to erase, erase all the sats you dont need. Your dish usually goes to the last view sat (sometimes)

There is but it is difficult. You can always re flash again using flash wizz pro. Or load the gemeni for the 5620.

Not touched the thing since this early this morning. But last time I checked it wasn't working. Will have another go shortly.

Is it ok to use Flash Wizaed Pro with the 5620 ?

Cheers

FTPing key files across is something you should learn to do. Read my NewcamD guide which tells you exactly where, what and how. Take your time, and don't overwrite or delete something that you haven't made a copy of back to the PC.

Learn how to do this, and you will never be stuck again. CAM and key files are always available from somewhere on the net, but auto-update can sometimes let you down.
