My Satellite Setup
Master Focus 90cm .Gigablue UHD Quad 4K on TM 2600 motor. *Tm 5402 HD M3, *Atemio Nemesis. *Not Used.

:confused I have been considering having a satellite set up for years, even posted in here ages ago but work, home commitments and family somehow delayed it all. My brother died very recenly and left me a little in his will, saying treat yourself to something special. Now I have just retired I am after that something special, a sat system and need yoiur help. I am confused, read pages and pages on the web, lnb's dishes, motors, receivers but its all become a blur. Must be old age. Can someone point me in the right direction? I decided on a 1.2 or 1.5 Gilberti dish with Jaeger 1224 EL motor and jack. I live on the south coast, face s/se and I am not sure on the best LNB or receiver. In all I have upto £1k to spend but would like to spend it extra wisely on this occasion in paticular. Many thanks. :-worship

Triple Dragon, Dreambox 8000, Echostar AD3000ip, TBS6522,6925,6983 PCie cards.
Gibertini 1.25m motorised dish driven by the AD3000, with either Inverto BU Quad or Norsat / XMW Ka LNBs . SMW 1.05m + 3 other dishes. Speccy: Promax HD Ranger+

Haven't a thing, life has been hetic, neighbours boundary dispute, several bereavements in the family since I was last here, spent loads of time updating the house, just the other half to update now.:)

Thats it, ordered from Germany, never arrived, luckily I put it on the credit card and had a refund. Months later I got an email with apologies saying the item had been returned as they had put my address as Norway. Will look at the TD again....now I'm rarin to go. :-thumb1

Could do worse than reorder a TD, just needs a little brainwork to get the best out of it.

Just involve yourself in this excellent hobby, and your cares will fade away (my experience anyway).
