You might find this useful Llew..
A customer came in the shop today ...
Being school Holidays .._that_ was a surprise in itself ..
very quiet here atm workwise.
But he was drinking a bottle of fruit juice from M & S ..and asked me to throw the bottle for him.
Which I did ..
When he'd gone I fished it out the bin and grabbed the calipers..
Perfik I thought just what I need.
So when I got home I cut the neck off the bottle just behind the plastic flange..
and discarded the bottle ..keeping the screw cap and top part of the neck..
A hole was then cut in the cap ..and I then fitted a polycarbonate window using gasket gunk to seal it in place ...
The neck which was almost a perfect fit was epoxied onto the inverto feed currently on the SL3 ...
et voila a screw top removeable cap both watertight and air tight for the SL3/Inverto feed.
I do love to recycle..
