Hi,
I got mine from _Amazon UK. Search for 'EW-link usb serial' (it's blue)

Works a treat on my Technomate and Dell Lappy.

Hi,
I don't know whether you require a NULL-modem cable or not.

My receiver does, and the connector on the receiver is the same as yours i.e DB9 male.

The NULL modem cable I also purchased has a DB9 female on both ends to connect to the USB-RS232 adapter on one end and the receiver on the other.

I got my NULL-modem cable here:-
_http://www.kenable.co.uk/product_info.php/products_id/820?osCsid=3c412b364a73a3ccbd96fe7158f3a51e

but you can get them from many places online.

My receiver will need Null Modem (so I was told) .
So you are saying I should buy 2 cables (Null Modem + USB Adapter)??

Yes, that is correct.

With a PC with an RS232 port on, you would have just needed a NULL-modem cable.

But since you have a laptop, without one on, as I do, you also need the USB-RS232 adapter .
