Looking through the shed for the actuator cable for another project, I've come across a reel of this stuff. About 150 feet of the stuff on a wooden reel which has no markings. Cable diameter is about 10mm give or take 0.5mm. Inner conductor looks like a 1mm solid copper and is really tough to bend or cut through.

It looks like it is for direct burial since the other sheath is highly resistant to cutting plus the outer shielding has the sticky compound I'd normally associate with the early cable companies around here (Nynex/United Artist) though it doesn't have the additional bellwire stuck on the side.

What is interesting is the additional protective coating over the inner connector, which protects it from bending and compromising the distances between inner and outer.

So what is it by name so that I can get a specification ?
