But seriously. How about a motorised mount, decent dish, LNB or any combination thereof?

:) :) :)

I agree I like Wolsty's first idea but I suppose we will have to accept the satellite stuff! H to H mounts are always nice for those upgrading a bit.

I think I'll steer away from Helen Hunt or H-H (same thing I presume) and mounts and decent dishes ;) and concentrate on something that won't get me into trouble LOL. I'll opt for a muti-region DVD recorder.

What about this-

Goodmans Portable DVD Player

16448.jpg

If you want a big bang for your bucks, look no further. Versatile, robust and cutting-edge, the Goodmans GCE 5000 is probably the best value portable DVD player on the market today.

Equipped with a super sharp 5.6” TFT display and high quality audio output, this compact unit will also play music CDs and MP3 CD-Rs and has two AV inputs for use with camcorders or video games. It comes complete with a full function remote control and the flip-up colour screen is fully adjustable to ensure that you always have the perfect viewing angle.

Perfect for use on the move, the player comes complete with a 12v adaptor that allows you to power the machine from a standard car cigar lighter and has dual headphone sockets for private viewing. Easy to operate and transport, the whole kit n' caboodle packs into a convenient carry case which also doubles as a rear seat sling for in-car use.

It'll also work just as well indoors. Included in this great value package is an AC mains adaptor that plugs straight into a standard wall socket, while the machine has an AV output for connection direct to your TV or monitor.

Kit comprises:

· DVD/CD/MP3 Player
· Travel Bag
· 2 x Headphones
· Remote control unit
· 12v DC car adaptor
· 230v AC adaptor
· All necessary cables

That looks really good Chris, I could add a Skystar II as a second or third prize, that may give a bit of an extra pull.

How about a TFT monitor either 15" or 17".Everybody on the forum must be also interested in computers, besides being interested in Satellite and I'm sure most people would like one. I would certainly buy at ticket for such a prize
