This is good timing, someone asked me just yesterday about a remote for an old Grundig TV as a one for all wouldn’t tune it.

Will have a look here, thanks Rolf :)

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

The Goodmans GHC unit appears to be more than the surround system that came with it

Good idea Brian, we could almost do a general wanted section for all those little bits and peices that break and are hard to source.

I've got a dodgy remote on a Sony portable...RM-694. Doesn't appear in either database of the above link.

Crumbs, looks like they have just about every Sony rtemote in the second list, apart from that is, the RM694. :)

They do tend to all be fairly similar though, so a near number may work yours.

CPC do the Sony RM694 remote, but you have to set up an account, and it's £11.99, plus VAT, plus p+p.
They do a good range though, and some are quite reasonable.
They have a website at www.cpc.co.uk. If you set up an account you get a great fat catalogue.

Hi,

Somebody told me that if I could find a Black Bird remote it would work with my Coship 5300b? If anyone has a couple I would be interested if you think it could work.
Thanks
Jim
