The white one is mine and the black one is a friends.

Before they were just regular PC cases, there is a sheet of Perspex behind the hole (cut with a jigsaw). The black rubber around the edge is actually a 13A three core cable, sliced along it’s length and cables removed, before being pushed and glued into the case cut out.

This is only the beginning, today I ordered more rounded cables (secondary IDE and floppy) and some cold cathode lights, perhaps a bit excessive…

Do you have a tackier case? :D

Nice one Polomint, just thinking of changing mine to a flourescent illuminated black case. will take a photo when I do.

Here are my two desktops at the moment though, note the fashionable lack of side covers. :)

I went through a phase of no covers too, makes life a lot easier.

Then I got thumb screws, so no screwdriver needed to tighten or loosen the cover. One problem with adding the Perspex window it is makes taking the cover off fiddly as it tends to catch on the frame of the case when sliding the cover off.

This attached pic is the case I would really like, perhaps in clear rather then blue tint.

But at £130 pounds I can’t really justify (or afford) buying it at the moment.
