I'm looking for someone who can put up my 80cm Orbital for me. I have a T&K bracket and pole for it but no suitable drill/expertise.

Anyone around who would be able to sort it for me? It's mainly just getting the fixture up; once it's up I can sort the dish seeing as I move it around quite a lot (the former fitting wasn't sturdy enough).

Area is ST15.

Thanks in advance!

Why don't you get a nice drill for the price of what you would pay an installer to install the dish once? It's not difficult to drill - just press the button and push!

What are you fixing to?
Normally we use either m8's with nylons or anchor fixings.

Fixing onto the brick wall of a one storey extension.

I am in two minds. I probably could do it if I got a decent drill. I'm scared of bodging it though. I'm not the most DIY proficient person!

Things are safe when I'm left to patio mounts and flat cables that go through windows. :D

M8 x 60mm coach screws with nylons. Drill size 10mm. Hire an SDS drill for the day, will make the job so much easier.

Try and keep the TK spacing no less than 450mm :)

Cheers for the information! Hadn't thought about hire. Hiring an SDS drill today to get it done!

Did it yesterday, managed not to turn the wall into a pile or rubble and it all feels sturdy!

Thanks all for the encouragement/advice!
