Hello,

I have recently purchased an Irdeto CI cam which in every way electrical resembles a PN 90440.

Irdeto Common Interface Ver: 00:04
Softcell: Ver 2.06(CI) -NEC I-Chip
Compiled Jun 25 1999 14:30:31

The front of the cam has no warning
The back of the Cam has all the standard markings but lacks a barcode or part number.... strange

Could anyone supply information as to why there is no PN

I would like to flash it but thought it wise to get some info first

BTW. the cam work fine

Regards... Bthree

Certainly it would appear to be a 900440, so should be flashable, but i wouldn't make any guarantees.

From Lefdata.com
Irdeto I
based on the Philips 8051XA embedded CPU
( P/N : 900264 ) NEC I-Chip Ver. 0.03 , softcell Ver. 2.05 , compiled 16/Jun/ 1999 , flashable
( P/N : 900440 ) NEC I-Chip Ver. 0.04 , softcell Ver. 2.06 , compiled 25/Jun/ 1999 , flashable

Common Interface
Irdeto I and Betacrypt CAM
This Irdeto CAM are the flashable "I Chip" CAM, freecam alternative software exists to allow logging of data or to use with so called
" x in 1 " cards we do not condon the use of that cards

Hi rolfw,

Wow that was quick, i have flashed a few cams in the past but have never seen any cam that does not have a part No or marking of some type.

Just being careful, i may leave this one as is.

Regards,
