Thanks Gameboy. I am very worried about my motorised 1.1m. Although its not high up, its just about 4ft up my garden but its not very secured to the ground. I have been thinking of getting a heavier galvanised pipe and screwing it to a well prepared concrete on the ground but the weather has not permitted. I hope the wind doesn't uproot it today.

Oh gawd here we go again - all 3 dishes off beam by 11pm last night too - so no sat tv in bed At least they were still standing this time.

It was so bad, she's still not speaking to me!!!!

B*gger - the 13E dish is on the deck AGAIN. 19E still up, but dont think it will last the night seeing how hard the wind is blowing in the (sheltered) garden.

Had a look at the fencepost mount for the 1m, and its starting to come apart. I'll be outside in a bit with the bike locks to stop it failing completely or in worst case, stop the dish going flying off down the road... Repairs needed at the weekend

It's murder here just now with gusts my dish is shaking worse than a Turkey at Christmas!

Did think about taking it down this morning - but didn't...

Here's hoping it says up - don't mind if it moves a bit just that it stays up...
