I have just justed off my old Irte Omnisat for testing before DVB-S card purchase. If anyone is using one of these can you tell me if the positioner needs to have an external power supply. There is a 24v input on the back of the positioner but I don't remember ever using this input.

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

The current version certainly doesn't appear to require a separate power supply, the documentation Here only cautions that a 400ma power supply is required and this would be my main point of concern when using a PC card.
