Is an Irdeto CAM + funcard combo now useless?

Hi everyone,

After about 12 months absence (due to studies) I im now back into satellites.

About 12 months ago I was using a modified Irdeto P/N 901275 CAM (so it supports S*ca I, Irdeto I, Nagavison I and Viaacess I) and a funcard loaded with Mach1 6in1 file and that most of the time used to unlock most of the spanish and portugease channels (inc sport + adult) in Hispasat - it was great! :D

So the question is, 12 months on, can I still use this combo to carry on where I left off before or is it now useless? i.e. time to get something new? Can hispasat channels still be decoded in this way?

Your help is much appreciated...

There were not many receivers that got all those channels with the 901275 cam so you were doing well.

Almost everything is gone now with that cam, definitely no hispasat.

Easiest thing is to load the latest 6in1 file into your Funcard and see what you get. What receiver are you using?

Thanks for you reply. I have a Manahattan Skyline 3000 receiver + rotary dish so also have access to the Astra and Hotbird satellites.

I guess I better start looking for a new CAM, Dragon, MR or something along those lines.
