I see a post on skybusters that was badly answered though that was relating to the SS1, so I wondered if anyone here would have a better response.

Is there any way to get DVB-C using an SS2? I am making the assumption that the underlying DVB technology is the same.

I'm guessing the main problem is that the frequencies may be different, I cant find out what cable uses so I cant check. What is the range picked up by the card, i'm guessing that its around 1Ghz since the purpose of the LNB is to drop down the frequency.

The other thing is i didnt really wanna connect it up and have my SS2 sticking 18v down the telewest cables, just incase it popped a capacitor or something.

Anyone have any ideas?
