Did you get anywhere with this?
The Internet connection has nothing to do with it, nor does MS ICS assuming that both your PC and laptop are both on the same LAN (i.e. one is not on the other side of the ICS gateway, - WAN)
Also wired/wireless will not come into it unless you are running the (by current standards) slow 'wireless B' kit. This is too slow for DVB-S video streaming, whereas wireless G is just about OK. That's what I use to stream from my Dreambox to all the other computers on my network running VLC or similar.
There are no setup differences because of wireless, just a speed limitation compared to wired (assuming your running Fast Ethernet 100mbps.... of course you are).
You don't require the sat card to be bridged - ProgDVB must do that for you (although as I say, I haven't played with it).
Got my SS2 running again now, so might have a play with this for a crack.
What you are attempting IS possible given the constraints I've listed above.
