I have a one year old emp centauri prolif 5x20 multiswitch in service.
Recently the port of 22k on and 18v would sometimes fails to deliver signal.
I had to reboot the multiswitch for it to work.
The last time I reboot it, it worked for less than a week before it failed today.
Is it dying?

I know it comes with 3 or 5 year warranty but I am in eastern asia and mail it back doesn't seem to justify.
I don't know if I am liable for returning postage.
Or if I should return it to emp or amazon france, where I bought it from?

Advice appreciated.

Difficult to say, but obvious first thing to test is if your LNB is dying.
that would give similar symptoms. And sounds like easier to fix.

According to a quick search I've done this multiswitch will run from either a quattro or a quad LNB. A quattro is a better idea anyway as it doesn't require the 12/17v and 22KHz differences. Providing you wire them up to correct outlets of the LNB of course.

Try the LNb first. If it doesn't clear the fault then the switch will be faulty.
Looks like the same design as the older standalone Vision switch.

I emailed emp support and they suggested me to use quatro lnbf.
I have a question then.
I am using the multiswitch to receive 124E and 128E. Both of them have channels in high band only.
For this reason, I am using 2 11300 single lo lnbf so that the two 22k off inputs of the multiswitch can also get high band channels.

If I use quatro lnbf, I will be connect high band outputs of the quatro lnbf to low band input of the multiswitch, in the case, A, and B of the emp multiswitch. Do you think it will work?

If I understand correctly what you say, yes it should work, you just need to change the second box settings to LO 10,600 and turn off 22Khz tone.
