Hi
I have a star track 2100ce receiver which is stuck with 8888 on the display.

I am not an expert but I used to load and upgrade my old Liberty receiver with no prob's.This was the first time I tried the Star track and now its frozen, is there any hope in undoing this or is it to the bin?

Well it would seem you have fallen into the brown stuff. You and a few others that contact the forum. Firstly have you analysed what went wrong?
Flashed with wrong bin file?, wrong loader software?, interrupted halfway through?, powered off halfway through?.

I have absolutely no knowledge of your receiver but there are some threads on the forum if you do a search like this one, as a last resort you may also find some jtag information along the way as I suspect that is your only way out now
