I am looking for MBC-Maghreb, I have all the other MBC's (MBC1/2/3/4/Action) but altho MBC Maghreb shows on Hotbird 13.0 it says 'no signal', wonder why? I also get Atlantic Bird(whatever that is-load of channels).
Thanks

How is that prob been solved?

On some receivers, one can see and on some no, though the receiver is uptodate.

For example on the starsat receivers with 3 digit modeling it is somehow dificult to view them but the ones with 4 digits is as easy as ABC.

Does it depend to the receiver’s software updating ROM file, the region or the continent where you live? Some channels are been filtered? And could only be seen with the new series of the receivers?

Do we have these things or not?

A couple of days ago, I saw my friend who told me that he has upgraded his receiver to starsat srx 4000 series and now he can watch the tps channels, a few (20 - 25) cracked or hacked ones on nilesat. While mine is starsat srx- 5d and I don't have those channels.

How is it possible?

An important thing to say for whom are interested in upgrading their receiver.

A couple of days ago, I downloaded the software needed for upgrading my receiver from satdw.com. As my receiver was srx-5d, I downloaded the latest one to upgrade my receiver. It was the September one, but after upgrading my receiver, it does not turn on. I tried it for 3 times. The bar was reaching to its end level saying the upgrade is complete, but no response or no reaction from my receiver. I came to the idea that the latest one has problems. Maybe while the up loader was uploading it to the satdw.com, or something else. The other ones are working well and I’ve all the French channels open now.

Interestingly I now have a similar problem with TPS. Early January all my TPS cleared after 7 months of darkness as the June 07 patch from AL7bar killed some of the Platinum boxes, so I didn't install it.
But TPS mysteriously cleared January this year with the previous patch, but without using the AU system of going to France4 and entering 8888 daily.
A few days ago all Multivision, Canale Film, SCIFI,TPS star etc went dark. I have still certain TPS such as cartoons, AB moteurs, Motors, Chasse n Peche etc.
Any advice would be helpful. And yes I know a TPS subscription is the right way, but I cannot afford it, and anyway they are going HD and my box will not support HD. New box? Can't afford at present, lads!

You opened it recently because TPS turned off their AES encryption, so nearly everyone could view.
Now we know why, they have been tweaking their encryption to stop unauthorised AU.
There were still a couple of receivers managing to open it and software seems to be surfacing for a few other receivers.
If a new patch becomes available, for your receiver, then installing it will be the only way you can get it back, apart from buying a new receiver, a cam, if any of them produce any working files, or a subscription.

They will probably still use the same encryption, until they move to Astra 1, but they will attempt to stop us viewing.
As they didn't manage to knock out all the pirate AU software it should be back reasonably soon, depending on the support for older receivers and cams.
The Diablo team are busy developing their new receiver, and the Dragon Cam seems to only have kinkdink providing support, so I suspect it will be back on the Technomate receivers before the cams.
Keep checking, over the next few days, if any new patches or firmware appear.
