Not great timing for the UK - we seem to get 2 reasonable passes after 10am on the 27th, then nothing for the rest of the day. :(

Ah good - looks like the event continues through till early Monday evening - should be plenty of time to get some nice passes. Hope the weather holds long enough to get my new 145MHz dipole erected & cabled in.

If anyone wants to try this the remember you dont need your own kit - use a web sdr instead. You will need the MMSSTV software & set the audio on your computer to run via a virtual cable. Easy to set up, then acquire the signal through your web browser :)

Just had my first pass - 2 images received - on 145.49MHz instead of the usual 145.8 Using my new 145MHz dipole which Im glad to see is working now Ive sorted a loose connection out... The first image is chopped off as I was set up on 145.8.

Ah - an admission someone goofed... From the ARISS SSTV blog

**Oct 27 Update**
Seems the event started with a bit of confusion. Images were initially being down linked on the wrong frequency. Another complication is that the MMSSTV overlay was active and covering some of the images. Seems these are being fixed so hopefully everyone can try to capture images as they were intended to be transmitted.

Lets hope they have everything straightened out for tomorrows passes. (European passes start around 0500utc)

One and a half images on the 0800 pass here. Only half on the 2nd image as a hill got in the way!
