What do I need to do to receive ITV and Five on Astra 2D? I'm receiving all the beeb channels OK. using an Echostar AD3000IP with no cam.

Visiosat trisat looking at Astra1, Astra2 and Hotbird.

I'm afraid you cannot receive ITV and Five on your Echostar Malcolm, you need a special Sky digibox to receive them as they are encrypted (FTV) in videoguard.

But.... I just discovered from a friend (it may be generally known, but not to me) that the £23 card from Sky is apparently no longer available. Is this true??

This is indeed true I'm afraid. Don't dispair though, I managed to pick a card up free with a second hand sky digibox I bought after the cards were no longer available. I bought the gear in a second electrical shop.

Yes, but > 70 quid just for the card.. I paid 100 for digibox and got the card thrown in for free. I did have to fly over the the UK to buy it though, but at 1 Euro plus tax each way I'm not complaining.
