Does anyone know when the rumoured ITV4+1 will be launched??

I know its early days but does anyone have any idea what frequency it will be on????

Here in the south of spain I get a strong ITV2+1 signal but nothing with regards to ITV2 ITV3 ITV3+1 or ITV4.

Any ideas anyone???

ITV2+1 is on a horizontal TP. All the rest are on verticals. This may explain your problem. There are versions of ITV1 on the same TP as ITV2+1 so you should be able to get it.

I am not aware of any plans to launch an ITV4+1 - as far as I know ITV4 has quite restricted transmission times anyway.

Cheers for the advice.

We dont have any problems picking up ITV1 albeit we have to go through other channels and get a regional variation which is our strongest channel.

The reason why I ask is that ITV4 +1 apparently already has a slot on the freeview epg an is awating a launch.

Its a nightmare trying to pick up the terestrial channels here in the south of spain, but I guess you cant complain too much because at least we dont pay the licence fee!!!

I dont actually know why they bother making it difficult, because ITV and BBC programs are available online through their web sites, so this defeats the purpose.

They block you if they detect a Spanish ip address. On the rare occasions I watch on the web sites, I have to use a UK based proxy server.
