Hi,

Can anyone please tell me what type/model of system, and exactly what I need to do, to receive regular Japanese TV stations right here in the good old North East of England? I'll be purchasing all equipment required so reasonable pricing a consideration.

I'm new to all this, so specifics would be appreciated.
Cheers.

The only way to get Japanese TV in the UK is to get the satellite delivered JSTV channel.

You need a satellite receiver which will decode cryptoworks scrambled transmissions, an 80cm dish, and a subs. Currently. 30ukp/month plus 100ukp joining fee.

Some details here:

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

NHK Tokyo is on C Band on PAS 10, though in the North of England it may not be visible to you
