If you really have a 2.4M Channel Master then I wouldn't advise you use this motor, it wasn't designed for something that big, and heavy. it is very well made but I'm not sure it will be capable of moving a 2.4M dish, at least not for too long. It would easily move your 1M Channel Master, listed in your profile, but then again so would a few motors, including the lighter, less well made, Moteck H-H 180.
The Channel Master adapter plate is 21cm by 30cm, with 4 holes spread 18cm apart.
It is similar to the one in the picture, which is from the Moteck, but of much better quality. This is all that the Channel Master adapter kit consists of, an adapter plate and two extension arms, designed to push the dish forward to track the satellite arc in the UK.

In the images, supplied by oldtimer70, you can see the main adjuster, the red arrow, for elevation, the green arrows show how it moves the dish, designed not only to move it East, and West, but it also tilts the dish, to automatically adjust for LNB skew.

The final adjustment, to fine tune the satellite arc, is the bolt at the top of the motor.

It is a very well built motor, much stronger than the Moteck 180, and heavier, but I'm still not sure it could handle the weight of the 2.4M channel Master.
