Steve Jobs has promised that Apple is busy finishing more products after the huge sales of the iPhone 3G.
The Apple supremo, commenting on record quarterly results for the company, announced that he was delighted at the hug spike in Mac sales, but that focus was still on new products.
"We set a new record for Mac sales, we think we have a real winner with our new iPhone 3G, and we're busy finishing several more wonderful new products to launch in the coming months," said Jobs.
Halo effect
The halo effect around the ubiquitous iPod and the looming presence of iPhones on the mobile phone market has sparked a huge increase in brand recognition and the sales of Apple Macintosh computers.
The likes of Apple's super-slim MacBook Air has sold well and what was once a niche market has blossomed.
But the prospect of more Apple gadgets will be an enticing one for Apple's vociferous fanbase, who have 'evangelised' the company's key products.
