I'm sure that most Brits over the age of 30 remember the Are you being served series and John Inman's Mr Humphries character, particularly his catchphrase, I'm Free.

A bit dated now, but I used to love that series, even Wendy Richard/Pauline Fowler (Miss Brahms) looked attractive in those days. :-lmao

Sad to see his passing.

I remember seeing Arthur English when he was the archetypal spiv/wide boy doing the fleapit theatres in the 50's.

But on a serious note, even though I'm only a "young 'un" (21 years young) I still found "Are you being served" very funny and he'll be missed... :(

I suppose you could say he really is free now!!!! :)
