Jump TV via the Internet

Does anyone have any information about a Internet company called Jump TV,who claim that they can provide television channels from Argentina, Ecuador, Vietnam, U.S.A, Lebanon, Mexico, Thailand, Chile, Colombia, as well as many European countries.
Theses channels are broadcast via the internet from $5.99 a month for normal speed computers, to $9.99 for broadband. O-no

Just had a look at the site Rob, I would guess that if you are desperate to see your home channels and you're out of reasonable dish range, it could be quite good.

Trouble is that even with ADSL, you would have trouble streaming anything but a fairly small picture.

As you say Rolf handy for someone to catch up with South American or U.S news, and would also be handy for someone who cannot install a dish, i.e; somebody who lives in a block of flats, etc.
So you don't think that this could be the new television medium waiting to explode !
and that we will be throwing our receiver's and dish's away. ( Joke )

It's horses for courses Rob, certainly there is a lack of representation internationally from some countries and this may be the answer, whether it becomes mainstream is another matter altogether though.

Many Expatriate workers rely on the internet for their radio reception, so why not TV as well.

Seems I can get all of the above with a dish in SE England. Argentina is the most difficult (read expensive) with a minimum of a 3m dish and C band apparatus on it
