Hi all,

Got a motor for my dish all installed ok, Moteck SG2100A.

Setup pointing at Thor all ok, can receive Astra 2A/3A/hotbird/Thor all no problem, but going West all is not good.

Cannot get Hispasat whatever I do, tried with motor and without.

Got Skystar2 PCI card.

Any help appreciated.

thanks

Check your mount is vertical - if it is then the reference satellite may be slightly out causing the arch to miss.

Chances are it's the pole.

Make sure you have set your motor on 0 degrees when facing due south.
Locate the satellite that is closest to due south and set your elevation on thet one and check tracking east and west ,adjust entire motor mount east or west slightly to peak sat signals ,move nothing much only slightly after getting basic settings correct .It should track all available satellites after doing this.Motors can be difficult at first.
