Are you going to do the collection of the dish yourself or will you be placing your trust in a transporter to collect and deliver safely?

When I bought a dish from the same seller he had enclosed the dish in a purpose built wooden frame for protection. However that was only a small 1.5m dish, nowhere near the size of a 2.3m dish.

I am looking forward to your installation topic if you create one and signal reports once it is up.

My thoughts as well, more bodies the better for transportation and erection of a reflector that size - so easy to lose control of it and suffer damage which must be considered as an absolute No No. I hired a large Luton Tranny van to collect my 2.2 Elite and three of us loaded up at the factory and two of us off-loaded at my Gaff - it was about 7pm with calm weather, no breeze etc - three would have been better though.
Look forward to your construction details. Have you done a ground location plan yet - what part of the arc will you be able to cover ? ... Pic's would be great.
