Hi All,
I have a DishTV system installed but not used since quite sometime. I've been going through the threads here and other sites where our indian sat enthusiats post. I would like to state that i'm very keen in exploring this arena. I would like to request you to guide me as much regarding the same.
As of now I have the following:
1. Dish TV's dish antenna and ofcourse the LNB that they fit in.
2. Zegna receiver.

I'm looking forward to buy a DVB-S PCI Card and from what i've found Skystar2 looks a good choice of most of the people. However, my findings were posts as old as 2006. So probably we have something new and better option aswell. If there's one please let me know. Also how can I get the DVB-S PCi card here in Delhi. Is ebay the only way?
I'm also planning to buy the SG2100. Again, is ebay the only way to get it in Delhi ?
Also let me know if something else would be required.

Regards,
Rajat

You will need a good PC as the DVB-S card needs a lot of resources.
Check the system requirements for any card before buying.
Also one with campatible CI interface.
As the world is moving to HD, try to consider an HD card, but in this case you need an even more powerful PC.
