.... Modded Hughes working a treat now on a TBS-6903 card as well as TM-5402 M3 with some cracking strength signals across the arc. In use as LHC / RHC at the moment.

** Can somebody confirm if the Avanti test card @ 31 east has gone.**

Cheers Llew, iv'e got the same plot as you. These modified lumps and their feed seem to perform and match up well onto a 1.8 Channel Master .... pretty good for the relatively low price.

The Irony is that the heavy bulky element which is the trasmitter is of no use whatsoever ...
Thus if they could be removed prior to shipping ..that too would get the shipping costs down ..
Personally ...and I have said this before ...the best solution is one of our members states-side to buy them all ...remove the bulky transmitters and ship em over without the scrap.
but it is a big ask ..

Probably gone into hibernation, autumn approaching judging by the change in weather today.
My understanding is that the turtle shell is the redundant part, its the LNB and feed that is used for Ka from the HughesNet contraptions?

I had the same response, there's something weird about the listing. I tried by logging in to ebay.com and searching on 272375348752 brought zero results as does clicking on "see other items from seller" and searching "HughesNet HN9200" . Could this be the thing that blocked st1 from the 3.8? Has anyone got a VPN that emerges in the US?

Edit: I managed to ask a question on the BMW that seems to be on sale form the same seller. I just asked if he was interested in selling all 4 HughesNet HN9200 Modem to UK.

... Question time @Vs & Llew re: LO can opening
Iv'e read the thread until i got a headache .... i saw the picture of the LO can that had been opened up to reveal the puck, did you find a way to alter the puck / LO frequency arrangement to try and get the Hughes to see further down than 19.6 GHz.
With the appearance of the 138MHz - 4.4GHz SSA device it makes it a lot easier to dabble with the Hughes along with the Promax to see where you are going with it when dabbling. Ta

Missed that thread for some reason Llew, i'll give it a read.
It was just interesting to know if it could be made to go down to 19.2 just in case some tv came up on the recent new sats that have 19.2 - 20.2 downlinks.
