@John @Feedsat_DXer Yes, there's a group of 3 just below the GS, reasonable strength.

There's another group of 4 around 20949. All are about 200kHz wide and do not lock using CS.

I'm using a linear feed so don't know which polarisation they are.

Nice representations Graham :Y ..... if you sling that 21.048 L through TSReader & possibly VLC you should see the Danish program DR 1.
I cant see the other block of four Graham cos i'm on the modded Gilat which just takes me into the top end of band C but not low enough to see the block of four.

Ta. You should be able to see them, I'm also using a Gilat with 20.05G LO. It's OK down to 20.6 but droops by the time you get to 20.3G. The beacon is on 20700MHz:

Hi everybody ! I wrote in several threads about buying KA band LNB . As I looked for broadcasting channels on ka band I picked only 16E 7E and perhaps 4.8E.. TVM Malawi From your experience found out that locking a ka band frequency out of range of footprint is a really difficult story. I saw that there are many people who have LNB KA INVERTO for 16E 7E . If someone wants to sell me one piece please contact me on P.M. I think that is no use to buy LNB for 9E, 19.2E 12W the rest of the ka band where currently some channels are broadcasting such as itv news and dr1, 25.5E is quite out of range for me... I really do not know is it worth from Bulgaria to test KA 19.2E, 25.5E, 4.8E and 12W seriously out of range. Only for 19.2E there is some hope, it is clear that 16E and 7E are the only which are strong.. Thanks, I am waiting for your opinion and advice.

There are Saorsat - twin - LNBs on eBay, no need to modify anything.

Around 40 Euros.

But saorsat lnbs are only for 9E circular, it does not apply for 19.2E ; 16E; 7E 25,5E and 12W... I list only the satellites where there are active channels not only data or internet.

You should be concentrating more on the band than the satellite and polarity options. Get started with something that works on the correct frequency.

You have absolutely no chance whatsoever of getting the RTE channels in Bulgaria. However due to the multiple beams using the same frequency you might get something on whatever Balkan beam might be operational. Chances are that it will only be data signals though!

Then I will look for a 20-22 LNB for 16E and 7E, saorsat lnb is circular, for example with what lnb to test 19.2E ka band and I didn't find a footprint map of 12W WGS DR1.
