When I took them apart they were dry.
Around the same time it "stopped working" we had lightning, dunno if that may have caused a problem. (Just a thought) oh I can't rule out the dish face being bent in the high winds we have had.
.... Ok , without installation aids, especially on Ka, it's going to be a bugger to blindly hit the the Ka Newsnet spot. Easy things first to start the process off to try and find the culprit ...... String it. If thats ok then just pray the lightning didn't upset it .... i would have thought that it would have had to be a pretty close strike to take it out. I think your Dr receiver has a bit of a spectrum display in it which might be of some use ?, take it outside along side of the dish with a monitor. Remove any diseqc switches and just have a single good coax cable feed from Hughe's lnb to Dr receiver. The nag racing channel on Hor usually belts in up here in North Nottinghamshire at 16dB plus, not sure for your location though, so might be a good starting point. You know roughly where the Gib needs to point for 19.2 so just
slowly pan left to right, elevation up & down in an organised manner, giving the Dr rx spectrum display time to respond and again pray that you eventually get a result. Depending on your results will determine which is the next step to take. Temparatures are up outside now, get out there and make it have it !.
