kaon ksc -511,matrix cam

hi all i just bought a kaon 511 patched to all cam apparently,the problem is i cant get it to see my cam,just says not installed,ummm any ideas what this may be please dont say i need to intialise in another receiver,arghhhhhhhh i'll screammmm

Some of us do not access the forum 24/7 as have other interests in life!

However, I am using a KSC-511 with a Matrix reloded cam, from Menu - Common Interface it reads CI Slot 1 - MR 1.80
CI Slot 2 (As nothing is present in slot 2)


What do you see in the Common Interface Menu?

Make sure the cam is inserted well into the slot, should give type number when the Kaon detects a cam inserted.

If no joy, try the cam in another receiver, or try a different cam in your receiver to pin point problem ie. cam or receiver.
