Well my dwarf one outside is just flowering, but it has reached 57"
The greenhouse one has excelled despite being a late starter, flowerhead is forming and is now at 120", I should also give a mention to my greenhouse new potatoes which have now exceeded 48" and still not flowered. Unfortunately I am unable to post the first two pics as my Google photos account is not currently uploading from my phone and I have no idea why.

OK sorted out the problem with my Google photo account
The greenhouse one had better flower soon as it is almost touching the roof and the apex of the greenhouse is 12 ft off the ground

Ok well the flower head is very immature, but is now open for bees to pollinate
Height comes in at 119 inches which is 3.0226 mtrs, I am not sure if growth continues whilst flower head is blossoming but I should probaly declare a divident for my entry for this year.
my greenhouse new potatoes now have flower buds and have exceeded 60 inches.....

I am sorry I am unable to obtain a full photograph whilst it is inside the greenhouse, TBH I doubt I could extract it from the greehouse now.

I think we need a separate thread - King of the Greenhouse Sunflowers. Unfair advantage :-rofl2

Well most folks start them off behind glass of some sort therefore I do not see the difference.

I stood on my tuffet this morning and took a photo of the flower head that has a couple of bees drunkenly staggering around on it collecting pollen or nectar.

That's not a word I see very often - the only time I've seen that was in the nursery rhyme"Little Miss Muffet" :)

Yes well it is actually my grandfather's apprentice piece, which has been hanging around in the garage for many years and I promised myself I would 'fettle' it when I had finished building the greenhouse, so in April I finally got around to it

The one out the front has turned out better than I expected. 8'10"

That scaffolding next door is going to take root if they don't get cracking on the renovation.

My tallest up to now is about 10 foot. One of those at the gate posts is at about 8 foot. The third picture is the rest of them.
The heads are starting to swell I think that they will not be getting much taller. One consolation it looks like the wooden spoon will be going to the borders.:)

The wooden spoon will definitely be going to the Borders :D There has been a distinct lack of sunshine up here since the nice spell in May. We have had 2 months of mainly grey days and all the sun loving plants are suffering from lack of sun.

Well in view of the fact I have lost the tallest competition, the smallest competition, I think we should have a competition for the greatest number of flower heads on one stalk, mine is seven
but am struggling to get them all in shot
