I think you're confusing the OS (3.5) with the bootloader (2.0).

The latest Knot2 OS is 3.6, but the bootloader has always been 2.0.

Thank you for the quick response.I have a dynamite programmer.when the card

is inserted it states quite clearly knot card 2 OS version 2.0.the card is knot 2 and was not a problem before.I loaded a seca 2 file and the message came up
"bye bye"the anti knot card team.I started to load a proven file using the knot 2 loader as well as on the Dynamite screen it states clearly on the knot2 loader screen OS 2.0.whatever this team programmed in it has changed the OS.
I would be grateful for any advice on how to reverse the card back to 3.5OS
Regards.Seanmarg

There never has been OS 2.0 on any Knot card, either Knot1 or Knot2.

I guess you have loaded a fake file. Does it still say if the bootloader is 2.0?

If yes, you could try loading the genuine OS3.6 file to see if the card accepts that.

No one can change the bootloader so it's impossible that you have changed the bootloader by accident, even with a fake file.

What do you see displayed in kcloader v1.0 when you connect to the card and see the ATRs.

Hi.I have a cas 2 programmer without phoenix activated my card is recognised

by cas as knotcard 2 card OS VERSION 2.0. With phoenix on kc loader 1.0
it distinctly shows 2.0 on the card directly above the chip. The 12th and 13th
set of numbers on the ATR have been changed.I have also tried to load using KC 1 loader the card is still recognised as an OS 2.0.I had been informed from another source that the bootloader was suspect.you obviously know better.
Many thanks can you suggest a way to revert back to OS 3.5.Regards
