I have a Strong(SRT) receiver and can't get left and right polarisation channels since in its menu i have just the choice between Ver and Hor.
Have someone an idea about how to influence the LNB voltage with such a receiver in order to have L and R channels.
Thanks.

The receiver does not determine the change between linear and circular

The feed in front of the LNB chages on the type of polarisation

What dish, what receiver model and how many wires running to the dish.

From your answers Im sure a solution can be reached

Thanks for replying.
I have an SRT4400, my dish is 1.80m diameter an have a standard coaxial LNB wire connected between my LNB and the receiver IF input. My LNB is an universal Sharp one.

You will need to change the LNB for a different type,

The dish should be able to accept a feed with a dielectric plate inserted, then a C120 flange LNB is bolted to the feed

If the dielectric plate is installed at 45 degrees to the receiving poles in the LNB throat, selection of LHCP and RHCP is achieved by the 13/18v settings

Just an afterthought

If you can remove the cap on the Sharp, you mught be able to put the dielectric medium in the existing throat. Trouble is the linear satellites will have a lower incoming strength as a result

Dielectrics can be dense polythene, fibreglass or PTFE substrate, normal thickness at Ku band would be 2mm. About 4cms will be sufficient
