My Satellite Setup
DB 5620S
Linux Debian PC
Hi,

I'm the proud owner of a Dreambox 5620S. I'm happy with it, but the sadly famous problem with LAN streaming and recording is bothering me to the point that I'm considering buying a PCI sat card and start playing with it to get some nice recordings.

Plenty of info on how to do it under Win, but I'd like to do it under Linux.

Can you make a linux PC with a sat card on it behave like a Dreambox?
Plenty of "goodies" for the Dreambox and for Win based PC systems, but how about linux systems?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks a lot,

orzem
