hi
i have humax ci-8100pvr
and i have (Lip Sync) problem
i downloded the latest software for the machine
but the problem is still there,
the support of humax gave me solutions didn't work.
so is the reason of the problem could be not the receiver? lnb or dish for example?

Is the lip sync problem on all channels or just a few? It's possible that the broadcaster is sending out a faulty signal - even the good ones do this occasionally.

Sorry, can't be more specific as I don't have a Hummy.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

LipSync is a problem that plagues many receivers, The earlier Manhattan range seems to suffer a lot from it, and programmes becomes unwatchable when the sound is more than 250mS away from the picture.
Quite often its the design of the chipset that require patches to handle the fast decoding ot he transport stream, sometimes its the Korean software designers being lazy in the firmware contents.

Either way is not the LNB or dish.

Try unplugging the receiver from the mains and reapplying.
