He is the science fiction writer Arthur C Clarke, and his prediction of satellite communications has come true in ways even he never imagined. Yes - heard the radio programme today - the valve satellites would have been interesting.

Well worth a listen - a very clever man who thinks 'out-of-the-box'.

Great section with Arthur and Asimov ....

Sometimes I think education produces adults that think a certain way - if children were left alone I wonder what they would come up with?

As he says 'why did fish leave the water? they then found fire and that changed the world, space travel could make the same giant leap - we may never know - hopefully someday someone will.
