Hi,
I have an inverto twin LNB. When I bought it a few years ago it ran very well across the Clarke Belt.
Can LNB's develop blind areas with age?
Resulting in no longer being able to find some transponders?

Thanks,
Mooncamm

They can fail, especially failing to switch, between Horizontal, and Vertical, but equally your cable can degrade, or your receiver experience problems.
Without more information it's difficult to diagnose the problem.

The cables are new, the switching between H, V, low and high band appear normal.
I have a new Technomate 0.1DB LNB, if I install this LNB in place of the current Inverto, are the signal levels expected to be similar?

Generally depends on the LNB, but most are similar, providing you don't mess up the skew, (rotation), of the LNB.

Thanks for your reply. :) Problem now solved. I was searching for the FTA french channel on 19.2 east. It didn't find it because it is now encrypted.
When I search for encrypted channels on that transponder - it finds it.

Do you have a 4K receiver?
There are a lot of FTA French channels on 5W but they are multistream.
