It depends how much you want to spend.

Dish wise, get the biggest you can get away with. Without planning permission, the maximum you can have is 1m. Mine is 1.1m:-rofl2

Whilst the much stronger and faster 36V motors are better, most of us have the cheaper Diseqc/USALS variety, which do the job, just more slowly.

My Diseqc motor has been up for over a year now, and it is still working fine.

The Moteck sg2100 are quite popular, one of the site sponsors had them for about £30 odd.

With a Diseqc motor, only one of the receiver can control it, and yes you'd need a TWIN LNB for the 2nd receiver to run from.

Because only one coax can loop through the motor, the other would have to have a direct connection to the twin LNB.

A multi LNB dish with four twin LNBs and two four way DiseqC switches would be better for operation of two receivers.

You can control one Diseqc 1.2 motor with two Diseqc 1.2(USALS) reseivers with follow coaxial cable connections: motor – LNB in(first receiver) – LNB out(Loop) – LNB in(second receiver). But to watch programs with the same polarization from one transponder.
