Moved as requested & welcome to the forum :)

The 25.5E Ka coverage seems rather a long way south of Bulgaria. I suspect you wont get much from that one.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

From memory the footprints are limited to estimates of around 40dBW on the mena locations.

I've heard northern Italy will be OK with a - good - sub 1.8m dish so it's not beyond the realms of reception a bit further north.

I have two prime focus dishes (2,03 m and 2,30m ) with 2 ku band - linear and circular and also 2 c band lnb's - c linear and circular. First I wished to test 92.2E with 2,03meter dish , a Chinese guy told me that is possible only to receive the signal, not to scan, that is enough for me at first time, but this is not the subject of this matter. I will test KA band perhaps not in the focus of the dish because there it is ku circular at the focus, I hope and I think 16E - 7E - 4.8E and I suppose 12W WGS is quite enough. 25.5E is only a suggestion. At first if there is someone who have the 9E KASAT LNB i am going to buy it first to test 19.2E and 9E, then if it is possible and someone wants to sell ka band lnb such as the described lnb in the title of the thread i will buy it also. Thanks for your fast and correct responses !

You really do need to reconsider the centre of at least one of the dishes as a Ka band focus. Which dish has the better surface accuracy ?

Both the dishes have almost the same surface accuracy, but I think especially 2,03m is better. Therefore, you mean that is necessary to put the KA band ( if I found any ) to put in the centre of the dish ?

Yes, if the smaller dish will perform better than the larger one if the surface accuracy is higher.

A Ka band reflector should really have a tolerance that has imperfections no greater than 2 or 3mm at most, all over.

Having the feed at the centre allows the maximum signal to be received, especially important on a prime focus dish.

Regards ! From your response I summarized that is necessary to put the ka band in the centre because of its sensitivity even that the signals at 16E 7E are strong. I do not know about TVM Malawi on 4.8E.. If there is someone who possess LNB KA BAND of this kind for 19.2E and 9E and second for 16E 7E 4.8E not to bother to make an offer to me and we will certainly arrange it.

Ka sat lnb used to be available everywhere, but somehow it is not that easy to find `em now. Anyway here is the seller you can buy the lnb from. Shipping to Bulgaria is also available, just add "Europe" and then write Bulgaria and there you go - "3-5 Working Days - €15.00". Total price to pay would be €54.12.
(Or here if you prefer it from UK)

The second LNB you`re interested in was sold by Ponny who unforunately passed away in May 2017 and from that moment on this LNB is not available anymore. But during the time Ponny had it "in stock" there was another seller located in UK, but the price was almost double of the Ponny`s as far I can remember. I don`t remember what eshop it was and I can`t find it right now even I have been googling for half an hour.
In general speaking, everybody bought 2-3 pieces that are/will be in use at some point and I don`t think it will be sold to you by a hard core DXer. It was mostly hard core DXers who put orders for that lnb. Well, it may happen at some point.....

The good thing is, that there are other LNBs available. In different price range of course, but if you really, really want to enter this band, there is a way to do it. I can only name the well know manufacturers such as XMW, Norsat or SMW.

If it comes to Astra 4A @ 4.9E and MBC channel from Malawi, forget it. We (me and Peon) have tried to get it on the professional NWIEE 3.7m PF dish in Michalovce, Slovakia and there was absolutely nothing on spectrum at all. Not even a wee spike!
